Ojonimi Bako is a rare operator at the intersection of technology, construction, and AI-driven platforms. He holds an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and completed a graduate executive program at Stanford.
Over 20+ years, Ojonimi has held senior roles at Fortune 500 companies while delivering 50+ commercial and mission-critical construction projects. That experience revealed a persistent truth: the biggest failures in construction stem from fragmented systems, poor information flow, and misaligned incentives across buyers and suppliers.
Since 2017, Ojonimi has focused on applying AI to legacy industries. He supported Indus.AI, which was later acquired by Procore, reinforcing his belief that intelligent, workflow-native platforms win through adoption and measurable outcomes.
As Co-Founder and CEO of Kaya AI, Ojonimi is building a global procurement and supply-chain intelligence platform that connects buyers, merchants, and operators through a single system of action. Kaya helps teams anticipate risk, coordinate delivery, and keep mission-critical projects on schedule—where delays can cost millions.
Under his leadership, Kaya has won an industry award every year, including being named Global Supply Chain Winner at CEMEX’s Construction Startup Competition (2024).
